Princeton is only three hours from Metro Vancouver, less than two from Kelowna and just over an hour to Penticton. The town is nestled at the confluence of the Tulameen and Similkameen rivers. Because of this we we enjoy plenty of sunshine, fresh air, and the great outdoors. Our community has a diverse cultrual heritage and a colourful history.
In 2010, the town celebrated its 150th anniversary and was awarded the Gold Medal as Gamestown 2010 in celebration of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Princeton annual are varied and eclectic. From the pro rodeo in May to thoroughbred horse racing in June to the annual Princeton Air Show in July to the Traditional Music Festival in August and everything in between, Princeton has it all!
As always we invite you to join us in our celebrations and town events.
